Business Media MAGS

Business Media MAGS is a relatively modern online media portal designed to showcase a plethora of online business-to-business niche magazines and supplements. The brand originated as a means to vend Arena Holdings’ (previously owned by Tiso Blackstar Group) various magazines as well as serve as a platform for advertisers to market their company profiles, products and services.

Business Media MAGS is managed by Digital Editor Stacey Visser, who in November 2015 envisaged, and later implemented, a redesign of the website. The aim was to improve its general functionality to better serve the growing needs of the online market, and ultimately improve the brand’s digital footprint. The content – most-of-which is derived from its various magazines and supplements – is current, relative, and highly informative.

Features and paid/unpaid sponsored content is uploaded daily and read primarily by the South African public, although foreign investors often frequent the platform for industry insights. Many of the magazines can be read online and also downloaded. All of the magazines on Business Media MAGS are also available in print editions.

Business Media MAGS’ readership and demographics consist primarily of both female (57,9%) and male (42,1%) readers, with an age group preference peaking at 35-45, but not excluding a generally broad readership from 18-65 years +. Readers are primarily South African. Interests of readers vary from news and politics to investments, finance, business travel and education.

Business Media MAGS also has a strong Facebook reach of over 177,000 people on average per month.

The team at Business Media MAGS continue to implement innovative ways to grow the brand and its magazines, and to serve the interests of its readers and clients.
